Here are a few pictures from the Cinecon 47 Career Achievement Award banquet held on September 4, 2011.

Cinecon President Robert Birchard opened the show and introduced the musical act. Ragtime pianist Frederick Hodges played a medley of great old songs. This was Frederick's second time to perform at our banquet.

M.C. (and Cinecon vp) Stan Taffel took over and introduced the celebrities in attendance. Then he turned the microphone over to the first presenter of the evening. Film and TV actress (and past Cinecon honoree) Marjorie Lord spoke about her friend Fay McKenzie.

Fay was all smiles when she received her award. Marjorie and Fay with her award.

The next presenter, Tommy Cook, had many kind words for his friend Conrad Janis. Conrad thanked his friend Tommy and then went on to thank Cinecon for his award.

Tommy and Conrad show his award. Then it was (past Cinecon honoree) Piper Laurie's turn to talk about her longtime friend Julie Adams.

Julie was very gracious in her speech and she said how much she appreciated Cincon. Then she and Piper proudly display her award.

Past honoree and longtime Cinecon friend Jane Withers was on hand to talk about her good friend Jimmy Lydon and she had a lot to say about him and Cinecon. Then it was Jimmy's turn to speak and he had almost as much to say about Jane as she had to say about him.

Happy friends show off Jimmy's new award.
